These Bussmann MAXI fuses are available from 20A to 80A and are a solid choice for reliable circuit protection in 12V automotive, 4WD, caravan and off-grid electrical systems.
There can be a significant difference in consistency and performance between cheap generic fuses and quality products from established manufacturers such as Bussmann.
Fuse Sizing
A fuse should not normally be selected to operate continuously at its full rated current.
For example, a 60A fuse should not be expected to carry 60A continuously in every application without generating significant heat or potentially nuisance-blowing.
Always size the fuse correctly for the continuous load, cable size and circuit requirements.
Refer to our Fuse & Cable Selection Guide for recommended fuse sizing.
