Victron Battery Monitor – Direct Battery Bolt Down

A cleaner, simpler way to add battery monitoring to your setup.

We modify the Victron shunt to bolt directly to your battery’s negative terminal, removing the connecting cable normally needed between the battery and shunt. That means two fewer cable ends to crimp, less wiring to organise and a more compact installation.

• Easier installation: saves making and fitting a separate negative linking cable.
• Cleaner wiring: keeps the shunt neatly mounted at the battery.
• Fewer potential failure points: removes two crimp joints and reduces connections.
• Less unnecessary resistance: eliminates the extra cable and its associated voltage drop.

Choose from three Falcon-modified options:

- SmartShunt 300A: view battery information on your phone through Bluetooth and the VictronConnect app.

- SmartShunt 500A: the same convenient phone monitoring with a higher current rating. 

- BMV-712 Smart: a dedicated battery monitor display, plus Bluetooth connectivity for checking your battery from your phone.

Direct mounting requires a compatible battery terminal and sufficient clearance.
